Musk Tahara, meaning “purity” in Arabic, is inspired by centuries-old traditions of ritual cleanliness and devotion. During the reign of the Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb in the 17th century, devout worshippers at Delhi’s grand Jama Masjid would apply delicate musk-infused oils after ablution. These fragrant preparations were believed to heighten spiritual awareness and symbolize inner purification.
